B. Rankin Margaret P. Rankin Mary J. Rankin Martha A. Rankin F N Garvin and Letitia Garvin for an in consideration of the sum of eight hundred & forty- dollars to us in hand paid in the division of the estate of George Rankin decd By Thomas F Rankin have bargained602
sold and released and by these presents do grant bargain sell and release unto the said Thomas F. Rankin his heirs and assigns forever all that piece parcel or tract of land lying in the State and District aforesaid on the waters of twenty three mile creek containing one hundred & five acres more or less Begin on a W ox on the bank of McMurrays creek thence up the creek .... Together with all and singular the rights members hereditaments to the same belonging or in any wise incident or appertaining unto the said Thomas F. Rankin his heirs and assigns forever and we do hereby bind ourselves and each every of heirs to warrant and forever defend all and singular the said premises unto the Thomas F. Rankin his heirs & assigns against our selves or any other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof as witness our hands and seals this 9th day of January 1855.
