Know all men by these presents that I W. R. Rankin of SaidGeo. A. Rankin }
State and County have authorized and appointed, and do by these presents authorize and appoint, Geo A. Rankin of the County of Anderson State of South Carolina my true and lawful attorney, for me and in my name and Stead to collect receive and receipt for any and Every amount or Sum of money due and owning to me by D. W. Blassingame of Said County of Anderson and154
State of South Carolina, -- To Execute and deliver to Said D. W. Blassingame all receipts and acquittances necessary for the completion of the transaction herein comtemplated. To Authorize or direct the cancellation of any mortgage, and Surrender any or Such mortgage, Satisfied and Cancelled, as may have been Executed by Said D. W. Blassingame for the Securing of Such Sum or Sums due me by him whenever Same Shall have been paid to Said Geo A. Rankin by Said D. W. Blassingame – all of which my Said attorney in fact is authorized to do as completely as I might or could do were I personally present. In Witness whereof I the Said the W. R.
